The learning objective for this activity is to:
Become familiar with the clinical features that define various common involuntary movements, such as tremor, chorea, tremor, myoclonus, dystonia, and tics.
Become familiar with the differential diagnosis of common movement disorders, such as parkinsonism, chorea, tremor, restless legs syndrome, myoclonus, dystonia, tic disorders and ataxia.
Become familiar with the treatment of common Movement Disorders, such as Parkinson's disease and other parkinsonisms, Huntington's disease and other choreas, Essential Tremor and other tremors, restless legs, myoclonus of different etiologies, primary and secondary dystonia, Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome and other tic disorders and familial and other ataxias.
