The Evidence Based Medicine on Parkinson’s Disease and Gait Disorders will outline the concept of EBM and then present the findings from the recent reviews.  This will be followed by case scenarios thereby putting the theory into practice.

Learning Objectives
  • Explain the concept of evidence based medicine;
  • List the treatments available for the management of motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, tremor, or restless legs syndrome;
  • Identify the role of each agent in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and Gait disorders;
  • Discuss the clinical applications of each treatment in the management of Parkinson’s disease and gait disorder

This course is intended for movement disorder neurologists, general neurologists, geriatricians, neurosurgeons, allied health professionals, neurologists in training who reside within the MDS-AOS Region.
