The 7th MDS-PAS School for Young Neurologists will take place in Philadelphia, PA, USA, on September 24-26, 2017. Young neurologists who are interested in training in the field of Movement Disorders, as well as those who already have some experience in Movement Disorders will be taught by an MDS-PAS faculty of Movement Disorders specialists.

The School for Young Neurologists course includes several interactive educational experiences in large and small groups. Students will attend large lectures and panel discussions with Q&A sessions, will be involved in group presentations and case discussions, and will participate in small group “patient rounds” with movement disorders patients.

All participants are required to submit an eight-minute presentation (with a short video) of an interesting movement disorders patient, must have a known diagnosis, to be discussed in small breakout groups. The faculty advisor of each group will select the best presentation. The selected presenters will then present to the entire group and the audience will vote on their best presentation. Topics will focus on hypo- and hyperkinetic disorders as well as simple and complex patient management issues.
