Submit Your Video Case to the 2013 Case of the Month Competition!
Join your colleagues in MDS and enter the 2013 Video Case of the Month competition!
All video cases submitted online or via regular mail by any member of the Society's three Regional Sections (AOS, PAS and ES) will be entered into the Society’s second annual competition for best educational video case depicting a movement disorder.
Cases do not need to be unique or unpublished; rather, the Website Editorial Board is looking for illustrative cases with a lesson to be learned, and with a reasonable etiologic and pathophysiologic explanation for the findings. Cases from all countries are encouraged, as well as participation from MD fellows under faculty mentorship.
The deadline has been extended, and all video cases will be accepted through Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Cases will be evaluated by the Regional Section Chairs, and finalists selected by the Website Editorial Board. First, second, and third place winners will be announced at the 17th International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Sydney, Australia this June.
The first-place winner will receive an Amazon gift card worth $200US. All three finalists will receive Award Certificates and will have their video cases displayed on the MDS website throughout the year. To view the winning case from last year’s competition, click here.
For more information or to submit your video case, visit the Case of the Month feature.
