2013 Congress Abstract Submission Opens October 1, 2012
The Movement Disorder Society invites all MDS Members and Non-Members to submit an abstract for review for the 17th International Congress in Sydney, Australia, June 16-20, 2013. The abstract submission website will open October 1, 2012. For more information, go to the abstract submission website.
There is no fee to submit an abstract. All abstract submissions must be original research. Abstracts that have been presented at other meetings may be submitted if they have not been published and if the meeting name and date are cited accordingly. Please do not submit an abstract if you are not prepared to travel to the International Congress to present your research. The abstract submission deadline is January 7, 2013.

The Movement Disorder Society currently licenses the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) and trains raters through an online program. Now mobile opportunities to use the MDS-UPDRS app in personal use, patient care, and clinical studies are available through iTunes®. This simple and secure interface allows the rater to puts the MDS-UPDRS at the user’s fingertips on an Apple iPad®, iPhone®, iPod Touch®. Scores are automatically calculated and populated to a score sheet ready to be e-mailed to the user’s office for use in a study or patient care.
New! - MDS UDysRS Training Program & Exercise
The Movement Disorder Society has established a Training Program & Exercise for use of the Unified Dyskinesia Rating Scale. Like the MDS-UPDRS program, this tool allows participants to learn about the use of the scale, see examples of a rater administering the test to patients, and to view examples of the rating items.
