Registration is now open! Register before April 11, 2014 for the best rates!
- All abstract submissions must be original research.
- Abstracts that have been presented at other meetings may be submitted if they have not been published and if the meeting name and date are cited accordingly.
- All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in an electronic supplement to the Movement Disorders journal, online edition.
- If your abstract is accepted, you must be prepared to travel to the International Congress to present your abstract on the assigned date. Please do not submit an abstract if you are not prepared to travel to the International Congress to present your research.
- There is no fee to submit an abstract; however all abstract presenters must register for the International Congress and pay applicable fees.

Letter of Intent Submission for the 7th Annual MDS Video Challenge Now Open! This LOI should give a brief summary of the case, a description of what the video will demonstrate and a statement about why the case is unique or of sufficient interest to be selected. Deadline for Travel Grants: January 10, 2014
The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society is offering up to 100 travel grants in the amount of $1,000 USD each in partial support of International Congress delegates in financial need to facilitate their travel to and participation in the 18th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders in Stockholm, Sweden, June 8-12, 2014.
International Congress registration fees will be waived for all travel grant recipients. Candidates must complete the official Travel Grant Application as well as have submitted at least one abstract for which they are the first author to the 18th International Congress. The deadline to submit the official Travel Grant Application is January 10, 2014. Successful awardees will be notified by the International Secretariat in late February 2014.

Submit Your Application for the European Winter School! The third annual European Winter School for Young Neurologists will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, February 28 - March 2, 2014. Young neurologists who are interested in training in the field of movement disorders, as well as those who already have some experience in movement disorders, will be taught by an MDS-ES international faculty of senior movement disorder specialists. Visit the MDS Education webpage for more information on this and other upcoming courses.
