Registration is Now Open! Registration before April 20, 2012 for the best rates.

Scientific Program is Now Available! 

Abstract Submission Now Open! The Movement Disorder Society invites all MDS Members and non-members to submit an abstract for review for the 16th International Congress.

There is no fee to submit an abstract. All abstract submissions must be original research.

Abstracts presented at other meetings
Abstracts that have been presented at other meetings may be submitted if they have not been published and if the meeting name and date are cited accordingly.

Travel
Please do not submit an abstract if you are not prepared to travel to the International Congress and present your research.

Letter of Intent Submission for the 5th Annual MDS Video Games Now Open! This LOI should give a brief summary of the case, a description of what the video will demonstrate and a statement about why the case is unique or of sufficient interest to be selected. For more information on the MDS Video Games, please visit the website.

Housing Now Open! You are able to reserve your room in Dublin online at any time. To reserve 10 or more rooms, please send your request by email to mds2012@mci-group.com.

Deadline for Travel Grants: January 9, 2012
MDS is offering up to 100 travel grants of a maximum amount of $1,000 USD each to International Congress delegates in financial need to facilitate their travel to and participation in the 16th International Congress in Dublin, June 17-21, 2012.

International Congress registration fees will be waived for all travel grant recipients, and the amount of each travel grant given will be determined by the Awards Committee based on criteria including the applicant’s location in relation to the 2012 International Congress. Candidates must complete and return the official Travel Grant Application as well as send a copy of the abstract(s) they have submitted to the 16th International Congress.

The MDS oral histories project aims to capture personal accounts of advances in the field of Movement Disorders - from 1817, when the first paper on Parkinson's disease was published, through the discovery of the underpinnings of levodopa and the founding of The Movement Disorder Society and its continued growth.
