MDS Website News
The Movement Disorder Society is excited to now offer reviews of movement disorders publications on the website.
In this edition we feature a review of Movement Disorders: Unforgettable Cases and Lessons from the Bedside (Demos Medical Publishing, 2012).
If you are interested in reviewing a book, or submitting an idea for a review, please suggest the title, author and publication date to email@example.com.
Be sure to visit the MDS Bookstore to purchase movement disorders publications.
Each purchase from this section benefits MDS and helps further the mission of the Society.
Thank you to everyone who submitted video cases to the society's annual Video Case of the Month Competition.
We received 14 cases from around the world, including: Taiwan, Japan, India, Ireland, Sweden, Honduras, Colombia, Argentina, USA, Thailand and Brazil.
Now, let the judging begin! Cases will be reviewed by the three Regional Section Chairs, before final judging by the MDS Web Editorial Board. The winners will be announced at the International Congress next month in Sydney. All winners will have their cases posted on the MDS website in the coming months.
We hope to see you there!
The 17th International Congress is just around the corner and takes place in beautiful Sydney, Australia. Your Society makes it easier than ever to connect with colleagues and share your insights about the meeting, speakers, events, and more while you are visiting the "land down under."
We encourage you to join the MDS group on Facebook before you head to the Congress. You will find a community of like-minded professionals who want to connect with you too. Get in on the discussion and chat with peers and friends around the world. Post your photos, ideas and comments and connect with the global MDS community!
