  International Congress
  The Movement Disorder Society (MDS) gathers thousands of the field's clinicians, researchers, trainees and industry supporters on an annual basis at its International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders. The purpose of the MDS International Congress is to share ideas, encourage interest among all those involved in the care and research of Movement Disorders, to participate in the activities of MDS and to advance the related clinical and scientific discipline.

Committee Purpose:
The purpose of the Web Editorial Board is to more efficiently disseminate information about the initiatives and activities of The Movement Disorder Society (MDS) that will encourage people to browse and utilize the website by:

- Increase visibility and enhance awareness of the Society and the Movement Disorders specialty
- Better promote the Society’s initiatives and activities, enhance the ability to disseminate current, relevant information
- Increase visibility of Society’s publications on the website
- Increase awareness of educational programs and related activities
- Highlight the International Congress
- Promote awareness of the Society’s membership opportunities and associated benefits
- Provide useful tools and resources
- Create a user-friendly and technologically advanced website to enhance the site's attractiveness and navigation
