Society Subdivisions
All subdivisions of the Society serve the clinical and scientific mission of the Society. The Society has subdivisions which serve administrative or scientific needs. In addition, we have subdivisions which serve the needs of specific member groups: Regional Sections and Special Interest Groups.
Regional Sections are regional-based entities. They are serving the regional needs to fulfill the mission of the Society. They have their own organizational structure and can use the services of the Secretariat. The membership equals the MDS membership of the region. Their leadership is elected by the MDS members residing in the region.
