Special Meeting Theme: Neuroimaging in Movement Disorders
At each annual Movement Disorders International Congress, the Scientific Program Committee selects a theme that is highlighted on one day of the Plenary Sessions and carried forward with Parallel and Video/Skills workshops throughout the meeting. This year, the selected theme is Neuroimaging in Movement Disorders. International experts working in the interface between Neuroimaging and Movement Disorders will serve as faculty, and the presentations will cross the gamut of the field, from new research to practical applications. Meeting participants can elect to attend any or all of the sessions.

Registration
Individuals and groups may register now. Please proceed to registration for further instructions. The registration deadline is May 3, 2010.

Language
The official language of the International Congress is English.

Purpose
The purpose of the MDS International Congress is to offer a forum for clinical and basic discussion on a variety of Movement Disorder topics, including presentations of current research and available treatments.

Official Letter of Invitation
Some countries require a Letter of Invitation to travel. An official Letter of Invitation may be obtained by contacting the MDS Registration Bureau. A Letter of Invitation is only offered to those who provide a valid Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Personal Insurance
It is recommended that all attendees take out a personal travel and health insurance policy for their trip to the 14th International Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Passports and Visas
Advance travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past.

It is strongly suggested that all attendees contact their local embassy to determine the travel documents they'll need to visit Argentina.

Italian Pharmaceutical Companies
The Movement Disorder Society has appointed Pandani Viaggi S.R.L, Milan, to collect, on our behalf, all applications from Italian pharmaceutical companies and to file them with the appropriate Italian Health Ministry officials.
