Faculty's Disclosure of Commercial Relationships
It is the policy of The Movement Disorder Society (MDS) to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all MDS sponsored educational activities. All persons in control of content in any MDS sponsored activity are required to disclose to MDS and the activity audience all financial relationships with any commercial interest. Such persons include, but are not limited to: planning committee members, faculty, medical writers, joint sponsor staff (when applicable), co sponsor staff (when applicable) and MDS staff.
The primary purpose of MDS programming is to provide educational opportunities that enhance patient care. Information presented, as well as publications, technologies, products and/or services discussed are intended to inform attendees about the knowledge, techniques and experiences of physicians who are willing to share such information with colleagues. A diversity of opinions exists in the medical field, and the views of the workshop's faculty are offered solely for educational purposes. Faculty members' views do not represent those of the MDS and do not constitute endorsement by MDS. MDS disclaims any and all liability for all claims which may result from the use of information, publications, products and/or services discussed at this program.
