MDS-ES Movement Disorders European Fellowship Program

The purpose of this award is to support accommodation and living expenses for six weeks.
Candidates from the following countries are eligible to apply:
Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Ukraine. Applications from sub-Saharan Africa will also be considered.
Applicants must be under the age of 40, or less than five years from the award of their final medical qualification. They must be Board Certified Neurologists or in training for Board Certification. Priority will be given to applicants who wish to specialize in movement disorders, or to increase the knowledge of movement disorders for those who will remain in general neurological practice. The applicant be fluent in English or in the local language of the country to be visited. Awardees from previous years will not be eligible to reapply. Membership of MDS is desirable but is not essential; MDS-ES fellowship grant recipients who are not already members of the Society will receive a complementary one year membership and information about the waived dues program.
