Treatment of Parkinson’s disease and Recognizing Hyperkinetic and Kypokinetic Movement Disorders was held on May 23, 2009. This one-day, stand-alone course addressed the diagnosis of Hyperkinetic and Hypokinetic movement disorders. The course also covered the medical and surgical treatment of PD, use of botulinum toxin in movement disorders, and movement disorder emergencies.

The feedback from the more than 100 participants was excellent and many highlighted the need for more of such programs in Vietnam. It was hosted by Professor Nguyen Thi Hung and invited MDS-AOS experts were Professors Neil Mahant, Le Minh, and Louis Tan.
