Overview
Young neurologists interested in training in Movement Disorders are invited to apply to participate in this unique, hands-on Summer School experience. Led by world-renowned Movement Disorders experts, students will receive an overview of many different types of Movement Disorders, participate in patient examinations and learn about imaging, treatment and management plans.
Students whose applications are accepted will receive access to all educational sessions and patient examinations, two nights' lodging, all meals Friday evening thru Sunday morning and one year complimentary Junior Membership to The Movement Disorder Society, if not already a member.
Fees
After selection, the fees are as follows:
MDS Junior Members $100 USD
Non-MDS Members* $200 USD
*Includes one year complimentary Junior Membership to MDS.
Application
Application form and Curriculum Vitae are due by 9 May 2008. Students will be notified of their acceptance no later than May 23, 2008.
Selection
If selected, students will be required to prepare a video of a Movement Disorders case. Details of the video requirements will be sent with acceptance.
