University of Miami (FL, USA) Seeks Associate Professor of Movement Disorders

The Department of Neurology, Movement Disorders Division at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor. The incumbent will carry out clinical care primarily in the outpatient setting at the Professional Arts Center Neurology clinic as well as at UHealth satellite clinics in the tri-county area. The incumbent will also rotate on inpatient wards and cover the movement disorders service at Jackson Memorial Hospital along with University of Miami Hospital.

Those applicants interested in carrying out investigator initiated research will have access to use the department's research infrastructure. The incumbent will also participate in the education of neurology residents and fellows and mentoring resident and fellow research.

Indiana University Department of Neurology is seeking a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders specialist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the movement disorders program in the Indiana University Health movement disorders center. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care and clinical or translational research.

The IUH Neuroscience center houses Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Neuropsychology; and is neighbored by the IU Neuroscience research building. Regional Parkinson's Center (Milwaukee, WI, USA) Seeks Movement Disorders Specialist

The Regional Center is seeking a fellowship trained Movement Disorders Specialist to join its team of board-certified neurologist, Nurse Practitioner, Neuropsychologist, nurses and researchers who see patients through the Wisconsin Institute for Neurologic and Sleep Disorders (WINSD).

More than 20,000 people with Parkinson's symptoms have been treated at the Outpatient Center over the past 30 years, and the Center follows the progress of 3,000 patients annually. The Center's standing as a leader in the treatment of Parkinson's disease provides an enormous database that can contribute to solving treatment issues, understanding the potential causes of Parkinson's disease. As a leader in major pharmaceutical research, the Center actively participates in drug trials led improve medical management of the disease.
