MDS-African Section Chair

It is my pleasure, as MDS-African Section Chair, to welcome you to the MDS-African Section. MDS-AS is the premier African organization dedicated to disseminating knowledge and understanding about Movement Disorders within the field of Neurology. I have been involved with MDS for many years and have enjoyed the opportunities it provides to collaborate with the worlds’ experts on Movement Disorders.

MDS-AS continues to provide high quality and relevant online education to our colleagues in movement disorders and neuroscience, plus trainees, young neurologists and allied health specialists. During my term as AS Chair, we will continue offering a variety of educational programs in our commitment to engaging a diverse range of health care professionals interested in Movement Disorders across under-represented regions of the world.

We invite you to fully utilize the educational opportunities, mentorships, resources, support and membership benefits available to you. Please remember to renew your membership when required to do so. As a reminder, delegates from the African region qualify for a free No-Fee Membership with MDS. Please visit the MDS Membership webpage to apply today.

Thank you for your continued interest and engagement in MDS-African Section activities.

Should you have any questions, please contact the MDS-AS Regional Manager, Tamsyn Reed at treed@movementdisorders.org

With very best regards,
Jonathan Carr
