Paper explores best practices to deliver a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis 


Patients remember the moments they are told they have Parkinson’s disease vividly, even years later.  

That’s an important finding in a recent paper that examined patients’ own experiences to gain insights about how to approach this challenging conversation.  

Moving Along Editorial Board members Dr. Indu Subramanian (also an author on the paper) and Dr. Shaimaa El-Jaafary discuss these recommendations and their implications, as well as how best practices can vary around the globe.
