Waived Dues Membership

MDS provides a waived dues program specifically designed to enable those on a lower income to join the Society. Individuals who currently reside in countries classified as "low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income" by the World Bank are eligible to apply. In addition to residing in an eligible country, applicants must also provide sufficient evidence of financial hardship.

Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative (HINARI)

Wiley participates in the Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative (HINARI), which began in January 2002 under the WHO to provide journal access to the world's lowest income countries.
