Movement Disorders course for primary care providers is designed to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of primary care providers in the recognition, diagnosis, and management of common movement disorders encountered in everyday practice. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions, and practical clinical approaches, participants will gain competency in the assessment and management of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, ataxia, and related movement disorders. The course emphasizes early detection, appropriate referral pathways, and evidence-based management strategies tailored to resource-limited settings. It aims to strengthen neurological care at the primary healthcare level and improve patient outcomes across Ethiopia.
