MDS Research Groups
Basic Science SIG
A forum that brings together basic science professionals interested in movement disorders.
Open to all MDS members
Study Groups
Groups of MDS members that seek to collaboratively study a specific aspect of movement disorders. Open to all MDS members
Task Forces
Task Force groups form with a specific mandate in mind, usually to address a vital research or other need in the field.
Education
Courses for researchers
Clinical Assessment Trainings
The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society has established traning materials for select rating scales. Learn about the use of each scale, see examples of a rater administering the test to patients, and to view examples of the rating items.
Certificate Programs
The Training & Certificate Programs for MDS scales include an examination, which will grant you a Certificate of Completion once you earn a passing score. Case exercises are also included to test your ability to administer the scales.
Non-Certificate Video Trainings
These on-demand video modules are available for personal educational purposes. Special reduced rates are available to MDS members.
