Regional Teaching Courses (RTCs) provide basic neurology training for residents in neurology and neighboring specialties in the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa.

The RTCs in Sub-Saharan Africa is an annual educational initiative organized by the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) and the African Academy of Neurology (AFAN) in cooperation with a consortium of scientific societies including MDS.

MDS contribution to the past RTCs has enabled neurology residents from across the African continent to take part in this educational initiative. In addition, MDS provides support for inclusion of movement disorders content at the annual RTCs.

Details about upcoming courses will be available soon.
