CUE1+
Target population: Parkinson’s disease
Measures: Falls
Clinical support: Treatment
CUE1+ is a non-invasive, drug-free option that can be used alone or alongside medication. The wearable device is designed using evidence-backed techniques, vibrotactile stimulation and cueing therapy, proven to support motor function in people with Parkinson’s. Studies have shown that rhythmic sensory cues, especially when delivered as vibration, can improve movement initiation, reduce rigidity and stiffness, and enhance walking speed and rhythm. CUE1+ applies these methods in a wearable format designed for everyday use.
CUE1+ is designed to help you manage symptoms of stiffness and rigidity, which reduce your confidence in your mobility, make you unstable on your feet and increase the chance of you losing your balance.
