Social Media Ambassadors for International Congress in Hong Kong October 2018.

Social Media Ambassadorship provides a great opportunity for young members to get involved and play a vital role within the Society.

Ambassadors encourage interest and participation in MDS activities and meetings, as well as share ideas that advance our clinical and scientific disciplines.

Volunteer: Email MDS Digital Communications Manager, Lauren Launer, at llauner@movementdisorders.org.

Responsibilities

Social Media Ambassadors will be responsible for helping to promote the MDS Regional or International Congress prior to the meeting, as well as helping generate interest and engagement onsite. While the tasks requested can be done remotely, there will be an opportunity to meet one another onsite.

Familiarize yourself with the MDS Social Media Policy.

Photography is not permitted in any of the scientific and/or educational sessions.

“I liked to document through pictures all relevant aspects of the event and sharing them with other delegates. Also I liked to feel useful offering my support to the Congress.”

"I liked the encouragement to post about the Congress and the feedback from the Society about our posts"
