Task Force Purpose

  • To develop a novel axis classification on tic disorders that will separate phenomenology from etiology.
  • Within the phenomenology axis of the classification to create a consensus definition of tics and clarify the role of premonitory urges and tic suppressibility within this domain.
  • To publish the axis classification in the Movement Disorders Journal.
