Each session features case presentations from two MDS-AOS affiliate societies followed by panel discussions led by international experts. Recommendations for standardized measurement of gait performance in the laboratory, clinic and real-world will be highlighted. Describe the pathophysiology underlying gait dysfunction and the associated clinical manifestations during the early and later stages of Parkinson disease</p><p>2. Describe a framework for standardized gait assessment to capture dysfunction in the laboratory, clinic and real-world, leveraging advances in technology, and its applicability to early and later stages of the disease</p><p>3. Summarize exercise, training based and lifestyle interventions that target gait dysfunction during the early stages of Parkinson disease and describe a treatment plan that optimizes integration into everyday life.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Summarize innovative compensatory approaches to help people with PD cope with their gait problems based on an enriched understanding of the neurophysiology of late-stage gait deficits.</p><p>5.
