Welcome to Movement Inquisitive, an online learning tool for Members Only of MDS.
Movement Inquisitive aims to enhance knowledge of various movement disorders through a question and answer quiz format. These short video quizzes feature unique patient cases of varying movement disorder types. One new case will be presented each month. These video cases have been reviewed by the MDS Education Committee Chairs and MDS Website Committee Editors.

Case 12: Young Boy Presents With History of Reduced Scholastic Performance
A young boy presents with a history of reduced scholastic performance and abnormal movements.
Case 11: Young Girl Presents With History of Difficulty in Walking
This young girl presented with history of difficulty in walking since last 3 years which has been slowly progressing.
Case 10: Male Presents With History of Clumsiness in Left Hand
An elderly gentleman presented with history of clumsiness of the left hand of recent onset.
Case 9: Male Presents With History of Progressive Asymmetrical Hyperkinetic Movements
A male presented with 3 years history of slowly progressive asymmetrical hyperkinetic movements.
Case 8: One-year-old Boy With Complaints of Moving Head
A one-year-old boy presented with complains of the involuntary movements (to and fro) of head since the age of 6 months.
Case 7: Young Boy With Attacks of Twisting
This 11-year-old boy presented with a 6-month history of sudden episodic attacks of twisting movements of the whole body which lasted 20-30 seconds.
Case 6: Adolescent Girl Presents With Difficulty in Walking

An adolescent girl presented with history of progressive difficulty in walking of four years duration. Currently it has worsened to a point to affect her activities of daily living.
Case 5: Young Boy With Restlessness
Young boy presented with history of restlessness of last 2 weeks duration. The symptoms have been slowly increasing to interfere in his activities of daily living. No associated cognitive/behavioral changes. History of recent respiratory tract infection was present. No history of joint pains/rash.
Case 4: Gentleman Presents With History of Abnormal Facial Twitches for Last 5 Years
This man presented with a history of abnormal facial twitches.
Case 3: Gentleman Presents With History of Abnormal Contraction of the Left Hand
This gentleman presented with history of abnormal contraction of the left hand, occurring intermittently since one week. Episodes lasted for a few seconds and the frequency has been increasing over time to almost continuous episodes.
Case 2: Young Boy Presents With Complaint of 'Smiling Face'
A young boy was brought in by his parents with a complaint of always having a 'Smiling Face' (Video also shows T2WI of the brain).
Case 1: Middle-Aged Woman Presents With History of Abnormal and Restless Behavior
A middle-aged woman presented with history of abnormal and restless behavior of 3 days in duration.
