  Do you have relevant/specific legal regulations regarding telemedicine practice in your hospital/region/country?

Egypt: No specific regulations

Tunisia:No specific regultations.

Morocco: No specific regulations

  Is there specific reimbursement for telemedicine services (fee for service) or it is included in your clinical care practice without any specific reimbursement? Any rules or recommendations regarding institutional preferences for time split between physical visits versus virtual?

Egypt: Private sector pay similar to physical visits

Tunisia: Telemedicine is included in standard clinical care.

Morocco:Public departments do not have platforms. Physicians use free phone calls, whatsapp videoconferences. Private hospital use their own platform that include reimbursement.

  The main difficulties or barriers to perform telemedicine? Technological limitations, patient rejection, lack of training how to conduct it. Privacy concerns?

Egypt: Mainly phone calls, WhatsApp, alternatively zoom, facebook

Tunisia: Technological limitations are the main barrier 

Morocco: the main barrier is the absence of a platform for the public services, although there are private, free intiatives.

  With the COVID-19, are neurologists/movement disorder specialists in your country/region using more telemedicine?, which kind? Has this crisis change anything in #1-4?

Egypt: Yes, see above

Tunisia: In private practice, Neurologists are now using more videoconferences through a private platform but it is not the case in hospitals.

Morocco: Patients visits are cancelled, and mainly phone calls are used, followed by Whatsapp for calls and videoconferences, and photos with work-up tests exchanges such as radiological and laboratory results, between physicians.
